Planning a 1st birthday party

It is no secret that planning your little ones birthday party can become overwhelming. The difficult task is putting together that Pintrest like set up. Although, not unattainable setting a realistic idea is key. First keep in consideration your budget. Depending on how much you decide to spend on your babies first birthday celebration, ultimately be the deciding factor in how elaborating the party will be. The overall theme can be a simple topic or you can create a whimsical one.

For my daughters first birthday I went with a Parisian style birthday theme party. Picking out the theme was not a difficult task .As she was born in one of the fashion capitols, France. I thought picking out this theme would be befitting since we were living in France. By the way I will write some more blog post on living abroad. The center pieces were some Eiffel tower gold statues and some vintage Parisian style boxes. I tied in the color scheme pink and gold as my main focus in the party.

Lastly, I love capturing her first birthday and i did that with an in studio Photographer called Pixie Twins Photography. She had an amazing set in her in home studio and she also provided the attire. For her first birthday I wanted to do the traditional cake smash along with some high end photos. I also utilized my favorite upscale handmade gowns for babies and toddlers Monica Dragan.
